Sweeps Rules 

LGT Venture LLC (the “Sponsor”) offers sweepstakes in which participants may win Sweep Tokens that can be redeemed for valuable prizes without being required to pay any consideration, make any purchases, or stake anything of value, on the basis set forth in these Official Rules. The Sponsor does not offer real money gambling and has no affiliation with other sites that do offer such services. These Official Rules are to be read in conjunction with the Terms and Conditions found at https://www.cosmoslots.com/terms (the “Ts & Cs”). All sweepstakes offered by the Sponsor are in no way affiliated with Apple Inc. or Google Inc. 

1. Duration. The CosmoSlots Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") begins on May 1st at 12:00 am Pacific Standard Time and continues until such time as the Sponsor determines to terminate the availability of the Sweepstakes, which determination may be made without further notice to participants and in the Sponsor’s sole discretion ("Sweepstakes Period"). 
 

2. Eligibility. The Sweepstakes is open only to legal permanent residents of the United States (including the District of Columbia but excluding the outlying territories and the states of Washington, Rhode Island, Delaware, Montana, New York, Connecticut, New Jersey and Michigan) and Canada (excluding Quebec) playing from within the United States excluding the outlying territories and the states of Washington, Rhode Island, Delaware, Montana, New York, Connecticut, New Jersey and Michigan) or Canada (excluding Quebec), who are at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in their jurisdiction of permanent residence, whichever is older, as of the date of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor along with its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, contest, fulfillment and marketing agencies, (collectively, “Sweepstakes Parties”) their immediate families (parent, child, sibling & spouse and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and persons living in the same households as such individuals (whether related or not) are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. By participating, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Official Rules, the Ts & Cs and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects. The Sweepstakes is void in any jurisdiction not included in the above and where prohibited by law, rule or regulation. 
 

3. How to Enter. In order to enter the Sweepstakes, you must create and maintain an active account (a “Player Account”) at CosmoSlots and access the Sweepstakes by logging into that Player Account and using Sweeps Tokens to enter. Sweeps Tokens cannot be purchased and are only available for free at intervals and under circumstances as identified from time to time in these Sweeps Rules. Sweeps Tokens do not have any real money value and may not be redeemed for money or any other item of value. Upon logging into a Player Account, there are five possible ways for a player to collect Sweeps Tokens: 

a) When entering Sweeps Tokens, no-cost giveaway contests on the Sponsor’s social media pages, found at https://www.cosmoslots.com (the “Social Media Sites”). The Sponsor regularly holds Sweeps Token no-cost giveaway contests which can be entered by following the instructions provided at the Social Media Sites. The amount of Sweeps Tokens given away will be stated on the applicable Social Media Sites and will be credited to players’ Player Accounts where appropriate. 

b) By logging into your Player Account and obtaining the Daily Bonus. Players can receive free Sweeps Tokens once per day by logging into their Player Accounts and, when prompted by a pop-up screen, clicking on the claim button indicated.  

c) The Sponsor offers free-to-play online social casino games to the public that are separate and apart from the Sweepstakes (the “Social Games”). In order to play the Social Games, players receive free credits (“Game Tokens”) at the time of sign-up and can also obtain free distributions of Game Tokens during the course of play. Game Tokens can only be used to play and extend play of Social Games; they are non-transferable by players and cannot be exchanged for anything of marketable value. Players can also purchase additional Game Tokens using monetary consideration and/or Sweep Tokens (see section 4 of these Rules for details of Sweep Tokens), and those who choose to do so will receive Sweeps Tokens as a free purchase loyalty reward upon the purchase of Game Tokens and upon the redemption of Sweep Tokens for Game Tokens. The number of Sweeps Tokens a participant will receive as a loyalty reward for each eligible purchase or redemption will be displayed on-screen. 

d) Players can purchase digital items after logging into their Player Accounts, such as avatars, skins and other items that have no value outside of their use in the Social Games, using monetary consideration and/or Sweep Tokens, and those who choose to do so will receive Sweeps Tokens as a free purchase loyalty reward upon the purchase of such digital items and upon the redemption of Sweep Tokens for such digital items. The number of Sweeps Tokens a participant will receive as a loyalty reward for each eligible purchase or redemption will be displayed on-screen. 

e) By postal request: Players can receive free Sweeps Tokens by sending a standard post card or piece of white paper which must be 4” x 6”, unfolded, blank and unlined (a “Request Card”) and placed inside a stamped #10 envelope (limit one (1) Request Card per envelope) limited to one Post Card Per week, per player account, addressed in handwriting and satisfying the requirements set out below: 

·       handwritten return address on the front of the envelope and the words: “Sweepstakes Credits" 

·       all of the following information handwritten on one side of the paper inserted inside the envelope: 

·       the player’s full name as shown on their government issued identification; 

·       the email address registered to their Player Account; 

·       the residential address registered to their Player Account; and 

the following statement: “I wish to receive Sweeps Tokens to participate in the sweepstakes promotions offered by CosmoSlots. By submitting this request, I hereby declare that I have read, understood and agree to be bound by CosmoSlots Terms and Conditions and Sweepstakes Rules.” to the following applicable address:

For each Request Card submitted in accordance with the above requirements, a player is eligible to have 1 Sweeps Token added to his or her Player Account. If the handwriting on a Request Card is not legible (as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion), it will be void and Sweeps Tokens will not be credited to the sender’s Player Account. Each Request Card must only be made and sent by the individual indicated thereon and must be posted from the same state or province as the verified residential address of the said individual, failing which the Request Card will be declared invalid and Sweeps Tokens will not be credited to the individual’s Player Account. Tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes, including but not limited to the use of any device to automate the request/entry process, is prohibited and any Request Cards deemed by Sponsor to have been submitted in this manner will be void. All decisions concerning the validity of a Request Card shall be determined by the Sponsor in the exercise of its sole discretion, and all such decisions shall be final. 
 

c. Incomplete Entries and Entries with Errors Sponsor is not responsible for Sweeps Token requests or allocations that are incomplete, corrupted, false, lost, late, misdirected, deceptive, or are otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules. The validity of Sweeps Tokens may be disqualified from the Sweepstakes at Sponsor's sole and absolute discretion. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the individual who submitted a Sweeps Token request or allocation cannot be resolved to the Sponsor's satisfaction, the affected request or allocation will be deemed invalid. 
 

d. Owner of Player Account. In the event of a dispute as to any registration of a Player Account, the authorized account holder of the email address used to register the Player Account will be deemed to be the individual eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. The “authorized account holder” is the natural person assigned the email address by an internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. 
 

e. Automated Play. Use of any automated or other system(s) to participate in the Sweepstakes, to acquire Sweeps Tokens or play the games is prohibited and will result in disqualification and loss of eligibility to participate in the Sweepstakes or to redeem Sweeps Tokens. 
 

f. Validity of Sweeps Tokens. In the event that there is no activity within a Player Account for 60 consecutive days, the Sponsor reserves the right to deem any or all of the Sweeps Tokens in that Player Account to have automatically expired. Sweeps Tokens may also be forfeited if a Player Account is terminated, closed, or suspended for any reason, or otherwise at the Sponsor’s discretion. 
 

4. Prizes. Players with Sweeps Tokens obtained in the manner set forth in Section 3 of these Official Rules can use those Sweeps Tokens to enter Sweepstakes for a chance to win Sweep Tokens. Sweeps Tokens can never be redeemed for real prizes or Sweep Tokens. Winnings earned by participants in Sweepstakes using Sweeps Tokens for entry are awarded as Sweep Tokens, which they may redeem for money, digital items of value sold on-screen or Game Tokens. Sweeps Tokens and Game Tokens do not have any real money value and may not be redeemed for money or any other item of value.  Sweep Tokens cannot be used to enter any drawing and cannot be risked once won.
 

The amount of Sweeps Tokens required to participate in a Sweepstakes will be detailed on-screen. A player may be able to increase the amount of Sweeps Tokens they use to participate in a Sweepstakes so as to increase the number of Sweep Tokens they may potentially win. The number of Sweep Tokens that can be won while participating in a Sweepstakes will be shown by clicking the “Win Table” or “Pay Table” button, denominated as “Sweep Tokens”.

Each Prize Point that has been won through participation in Sweepstakes can be redeemed for a prize with a value of US$1.00 decisions as to the administration and operation of the Sweepstakes, the amount of Sweeps Tokens used to enter the Sweepstakes and the amount of Sweep Tokens available to be won are final and binding. 

Sponsor reserves the right to change the Prize Point win rates and odds of any games or Sweepstakes at any time. A player can see the actual and any amended details by clicking on the “Win Table” or “Pay Table” button. It is a player’s responsibility to check the Prize Point win rate on each occasion before they participate. 

A player’s Player Account shows their Game Token balance, their Sweeps Token balance and their Prize Point balance. Where a player elects to redeem Sweep Tokens for monetary value, the payment will be paid in the currency of the player’s place of residence as indicated in their Player Account, either Canadian Dollars or U.S. Dollars, to the financial account or online wallet from which the player purchased Game Tokens, where applicable. Alternatively, and subject to the discretion of the Sponsor to require a specific payment method, monetary payments may be made to an alternative account nominated by the player. Sponsor is not responsible for any foreign exchange transaction fees, charges, losses due to fluctuations or other costs that may be incurred as a result of, or in relation to, a redemption of Sweep Tokens. 

Where a player elects to redeem Sweep Tokens for the purchase of Game Tokens or for the purchase of digital items used in the Social Games such as avatars, skins and other items, such items shall be displayed in the player’s Player Account and will be available for the player’s use in the Social Games. Such Game Tokens and digital items shall have no value outside of their use in the Social Games. The player may receive Sweeps Tokens as a purchase loyalty reward for redemptions of Sweep Tokens for Game Tokens and digital items used in the Social Games.

Where a player elects to redeem Sweep Tokens for prizes that include third-party goods, or third-party services, such prizes will be awarded as vouchers, gift cards, or certificates. For such prizes, Sponsor's sole obligation is to award and deliver to eligible winners such vouchers, gift cards, or certificates. Where a player has chosen to redeem Sweep Tokens for prizes that are to be awarded as vouchers, gift cards or certificates, the said vouchers, gift cards or certificates will be allocated to the email address that the player has registered in their Player Account. 
 

Sponsor will only process a redemption of eligible Sweep Tokens if the player has requested the redemption of a minimum of 50 eligible Sweep Tokens, and as such a Player Account must have a balance of at least 50 eligible Sweep Tokens before requesting a prize redemption. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to limit the number of eligible Sweep Tokens a player may redeem to 3,000 Sweep Tokens per day. 

To be eligible to redeem Sweep Tokens, a player must be in full compliance with these Official Rules, including without limitation the requirement that the player must be a legal permanent resident of the United States (including the District of Columbia but excluding the outlying territories and the states of Washington, Rhode Island, Delaware, Montana, New York, Connecticut and Michigan) or Canada (excluding Quebec) and must be physically present in the United States (excluding the outlying territories and the states of Washington, Rhode Island, Delaware, Montana, New York, Connecticut and Michigan) or Canada (excluding Quebec) at the time the request to redeem is made, and the player’s details must match the information provided in setting up that player’s Player Account. 

Game Tokens, Sweeps Tokens and Sweep Tokens are not transferable. No substitution of prizes available to be obtained by redeeming Sweep Tokens will be made except as provided herein at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any listed prize for one of equal or greater value for any reason. 
 

5. Prize Restrictions. Potential Sweepstakes winners are subject to verification by Sponsor (in any manner it may choose) and the decisions of Sponsor are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. A player is not a winner of any Sweep Tokens and has not redeemed Sweep Tokens for any prize, even if an online screen indicates they are, unless and until the player’s eligibility and the potential winning play has been verified and the player has fully complied with these Official Rules and been notified that verification is complete. Sponsor will not accept screen shots or other purported evidence of winning in lieu of its validation process. 

If a potential Sweepstakes winner resides in or is physically present in New York and Florida, the maximum redemption value of a prize that potential winner may win or redeem through the redemption of Sweep Tokens during any one Sweepstakes is US $5,000.00. Any attempted redemption of Sweep Tokens during any Sweepstakes in excess of the value of US $5,000.00 will be rejected. Our Redemption Policy may impose additional limits on the amount available to be won or redeemed: for details, see https://cosmoslots.com/redemption-policy.

Potential winners of Sweep Tokens and potential redeemers of Sweep Tokens for prizes must comply with these Official Rules and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements. 

A potential winner of Sweep Tokens and a potential redeemer of Sweep Tokens for prizes may be required to sign and return to Sponsor documentation in a form provided by the Sponsor whereby the potential winner (i) consents to the use of his/her rights of publicity, (ii) assumes all tax liabilities, (iii) waives all claims against Sponsor and Sweepstakes Parties, and (iv) confirms and/or provides verification of his/her eligibility to participate in the Sweepstakes (collectively "Affidavits and Waivers"). In addition, in the case of a Canadian eligible potential winner, he/she will be required to correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question without mechanical or other aid to be administered at a pre-arranged mutually convenient time by a method to be determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion. 
 

If a potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to properly execute and return the affidavit/declaration of eligibility and liability/publicity release within the required time period (if applicable), fails to comply with these Official Rules (including, but not limited to, the requirement to correctly answer the mathematical skill-testing question in the case of a Canadian eligible potential winner), or if a prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, that potential winner forfeits the prize.

6. Notification. Potential winners shall be notified by e-mail, SMS message, MMS message or RCS message using the contact information indicated in the individual’s Player Account. Potential winners will have twenty-four hours after the Sponsor has sent such notice to claim their prize and complete all Affidavits and Waivers required by the Sponsor. 
 

7. Rights of Publicity. By entering this Sweepstakes, you consent to Sponsor's use of your name, voice, signature, photograph, and likeness ("Persona") for the purpose of promoting Sponsor's business and any products, locations or services that are associated with any prize, and for other commercial uses deemed reasonable in Sponsor's sole discretion, without further authorization, notice, or compensation. Such consent includes your consent to permit Sponsor to allow third parties to assist or provide such promotional uses on Sponsor's behalf. By entering this Sweepstakes, you hereby agree that your entry and assent to these Official Rules shall act as a written consent of all such commercial uses of your Personal information. 
 

8. Privacy. Personal information collected by the Sponsor will be used for administering the Promotion and for awarding prizes. In addition, by entering, entrants agree to the Sponsor and/or the Sweepstakes Parties using entrants’ personal information in the manner described in the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy found at the following website: https://www.cosmoslots.com/privacy-policy Please refer to the said Privacy Policy for important information regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal information by the Sponsor and/or the Sweepstakes Parties. In addition, you acknowledge understand, consent, and agree that tax information and other information you provide and information about prizes that you may win may be provided to governmental and taxing authorities, additionally, when required for fulfillment of a prize, your information will be provided to the third-party fulfilling such a prize. Further, you understand that if you win, information about your winning will be disclosed to others upon request as set forth in these Official Rules. The Sponsor and the Sweepstakes Parties are not responsible for disclosures made by any third party. Entrants may subsequently opt-out of receiving further communications from the Sponsor and/or the Sweepstakes Parties as set forth in the Privacy Policy. BY ENTERING THIS SWEEPSTAKES, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT YOU HAVE READ AND CONSENT TO SPONSOR’S PRIVACY POLICY AND TERMS OF SERVICE. 
 

9. Conduct. By participating in this Sweepstakes, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Official Rules, the Ts & Cs and the decisions of the Sweepstakes Parties, which shall be final, binding and non-appealable in all respects. Failure to comply with these Official Rules, the Ts & Cs and/or the decisions of the Sweepstakes Parties may result in disqualification. The Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any entries from any individual found to be tampering with the participation process, hacking any systems used by Sponsor and/or the Sweepstakes Parties, interfering with the operation of the Sweepstakes, or to be acting in any manner deemed by the Sponsor to be in violation of these Official Rules, or to be acting in any manner deemed by the Sponsor to be un-sportsman like or disruptive, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Additionally, any entries containing content that is derogatory, profane, libelous, slanderous, disparaging, lewd, obscene, threatening, sexually explicit, pornographic, illegal, or contains works of another in violation of someone's copyrights will be deemed invalid and ineligible to win a prize. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A USER, YOU OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND OTHER REMEDIES (INCLUDING LAWYERS’ AND EXPERTS’ FEES) FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. 
 

10. Liability Limitations. The Sponsor and the Sweepstakes Parties assume no responsibility or liability for (a) lost, late, stolen, undelivered, inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, misdirected, damaged or garbled registrations, entries, URLs, or emails; (b) any incorrect or inaccurate entry information, or for any faulty or failed electronic data transmissions; (c) any unauthorized access to, or theft, destruction or alteration of entries or registrations at any point in the operation of this Sweepstakes; (d) any technical malfunction, failure, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, cable, satellites, servers, computers or providers utilized in any aspect of the operation of the Sweepstakes; (e) inaccessibility or unavailability of the Internet or any website or app or any combination thereof or for computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or other errors or difficulties of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, computer, network, typographical, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes, the processing of requests for Sweeps Tokens, social networking posts, or registrations, the announcement of the prizes, or in any other Sweepstakes-related materials; or (f) any injury or damage to participants or to any other person's computer which may be related to or resulting from any attempt to participate in the Sweepstakes. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes (or any part thereof) is not capable of running as planned for reasons which may include, without limitation, infection by computer virus, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which may corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, then the Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes in whole or in part. All participants understand and agree that the Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Google Inc. or Apple Inc. Participants further understand and agree that in no event will Apple or Google be responsible or liable for any damages or losses of any kind, including direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising out of the sweepstakes. 
 

11. Releases. All participants, as a condition of participation in this Sweepstakes, agree to release, hold harmless and indemnify the Sponsor and the Sweepstakes Parties and all of their respective past and present officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives (collectively, the Released Parties) from and against any and all liability, claims, expenses, damages, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons or property, including but not limited to negligence and damages of any kind to persons and property, including but not limited to invasion of privacy (under appropriation, intrusion, public disclosure of private facts, false light in the public eye or other legal theory), defamation, slander, libel, violation of right of publicity, infringement of trademark, copyright or other intellectual property rights, property damage, or death or personal injury which may be sustained, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, arising out of or in connection with (i) creation of an entry, submission of an entry or participation in any aspect of the Sweepstakes, (ii) the receipt, ownership, use or misuse of any prize awarded, including any travel associated with any prize or activity related thereto, (iii) players’ registration materials on any related website, or (iv) any typographical or other error in the Official Rules or the Ts & Cs. 
 

12. No Warranties. NEITHER SPONSOR NOR ANY OF THE RELEASED PARTIES HAVE MADE OR MAKE OR ARE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY WARRANTY, REPRESENTATION OR GUARANTEE, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, RELATIVE TO THIS SWEEPSTAKES OR A PRIZE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ITS QUALITY OR FITNESS OR MERCHANTABILITY, AND ALL PRIZES ARE TENDERED TO ENTRANTS ON AN "AS IS" BASIS. THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES REGARDING ANY PRIZE. 
 

13. Disputes and Choice of Law. Except where prohibited by applicable statutes, all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrants or winners, Sponsor, and administrator in connection with this Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Nevada, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions which might otherwise cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Nevada. The application of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods is specifically excluded. 
 

Any and all disputes and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, including but not limited to prizes available to be won, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by final and binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) for U.S. residents and the International Centre for Dispute Resolution (“ICDR”) for Canadian residents. Such arbitration will be held at the AAA or ICDR regional office nearest to the player’s normal place of residence. 

To the extent permitted by applicable law, no player shall under any circumstances be entitled to obtain awards for, and all players hereby waive all rights to claim, punitive, incidental or consequential damages, or any other damages, including lawyers’ fees, other than player’s actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e., costs associated with participating in this Sweepstakes), and all players further waive all rights to have damages multiplied or increased. 
 

Solely to the extent the arbitration clauses set forth above do not apply, or for purposes of an application to enforce an award granted pursuant to arbitration, any litigation seeking legal or equitable relief arising out of or relating to the Sweepstakes or these Official Rules shall be exclusively brought in the state or federal courts situated in Clark County, Nevada, without resort to any form of class action, and each player hereby consents and submits to the personal jurisdiction of such courts for the purposes of litigating any such claims for relief and waives any claim of forum non-convenience or lack of personal jurisdiction they may have. 
 

14. Taxes. All federal, provincial, territorial, local, and other taxes on prizes and any other costs and expenses associated with amounts owing for the receipt of Sweep Tokens, the redemption of Sweep Tokens and/or the receipt, acceptance, redemption, and use of prizes are the sole responsibility of the applicable winner. Where applicable, a 1099 tax form (preceded by a W9 Form) will be issued to winners who receive Sweep Tokens and/or redeem Sweep Tokens for prizes, as applicable, that are equal to or exceeding IRS reporting requirement thresholds. 
 

15. Third Party & Social Media. This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored by, endorsed by, associated with, or administered by persons associated with any of the Social Media Sites, including without limitation Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google, YouTube, WeChat, TikTok or WhatsApp (collectively the "Social Media Companies"). By entering this event, you agree to hold all Social Media Companies harmless for and from any potential claims you may have related to or arising out of this Sweepstakes.
